Every mother is the queen of her family and what better way to spend your special day than feeling like a queen in an ancient castle? Spend the morning sailing up the Rhein River to admire the gorgeous landscape and various castle ruins, on your way to your extraordinary lunch where you will eat in a castle just like a queen.

Itinerary (subject to change)

DAY 1: Departure from Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot at 05:30 am. Departure from Wiesbaden JF Kennedy Str. corner Washington Str. bus waiting area at 08:00 am. We will depart on a special Mother’s Day cruise from Rüdesheim, winding down the Rhine for approximately one and a half hours. We disembark in the quiet town of Oberwesel am Rhein, where we will follow the road uphill to the magnificent Burghotel Schönburg for a delicious Royal Lunch. Enjoy views of the town and the Rhein River from the restaurant terrace, and explore the medieval details of the castle rooms. Afterwards, we head back down the hill into Oberwesel where we visit a wine cellar and join a wine-tasting afterwards. You’ll have some extra time to spend in this quaint German town. Evening arrival at points of origin.

CANCELLATION FEES: up to 28 days prior to departure, no charge; 28 – 15 days prior to departure, 30% of the tour price will be charged; 14 – 2 days prior to departure, 60% of the tour price will be charged; 1 day prior to departure and at the day of departure, 100% of the tour price will be charged! NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
