Prepare to spend two full hours dedicated to learning the ins and outs of local and long- distance train travel. Learn about special group tickets and family offers, as well as savings on long distance rail tickets. We’ll meet on site at the Kaiserslautern train station, have an overview briefing, and practice purchasing tickets at the machine. We will provide valuable handouts in English. This class will not include a train trip; it is instruction only. This class is for adults only. Please, no children under 12.
You may not have time to dedicate a whole day to participate in one of our trips, so we are holding a class at the Kaiserslautern train station to give you the opportunity to have some hands-on practice purchasing your tickets at the ticket machine or the ticket counter. Learn about group travel options as well as saving specials during this special two-hour class. This class does not include a train trip.
Meeting Point: Kaiserslautern Train Station, Main Lobby
Class includes informational materials and a USO Instructor
Limitations for Enrollment:
Each patron may take a maximum of the following free programs within each calendar year:

We have established a special Standby List for those who have taken their maximum allotted trips or classes for the year. If you wish to sign up for an additional trip or class beyond your maximum, you can sign up on this Standby List.
