Itinerary (subject to change)

DAY 1: 07:00 am departure from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot. 08:00 am from Ramstein Shell Autohof (parking fee € 5 / day) bus parking lot. 08:30 am from Kaiserslautern, Park & Ride Parking Lot Daennerplatz (near Kleber Kaserne). 09:45 am from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg, J.F. Kennedy Str. bus stop (corner Washingtonstr. near new PX). After a stop for brunch on the Autobahn, we travel to the harbour of Rotterdam, Holland where we board our ship in the afternoon. There we check in to our inside cabins. Dinner, buffet style, on board included. Take advantage of the ship facilities in the evening!

DAY 2: After an English breakfast in the dining room of the ship (included) we arrive in Hull, England around 8:00am. We disembark and travel to York, a jewel of a town. Chance to see the famous Minster, The Shambles and the Open Air Market. We then continue our voyage to Scotland, evening check in at our downtown Hotel located near the famous Royal Mile of Edinburgh.

DAY 3: After a buffet breakfast (included), we start with a city sightseeing tour of the Capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. This splendid town is dominated by its Castle, towering over the gardens and shops of Princess street. Afternoon free time to shop in a Woollen Mill or visit the Edinburgh Castle. For your evening entertainment your guide can arrange a Ghost tour (not included).

DAY 4: After breakfast (included), full day free for own activities or join us on a full day journey (optional) through the highlands. A special highlight will be a visit to the smallest Whiskey Distillery in Scotland with a selection of one of the finest whiskeys. Of course, you’ll have the opportunity to taste this fine whisky. Afterwards we’ll visit Stirling with its Castle (home of Robert the Bruce). Enjoy the wonderful view from up here, see the William Wallace Memorial and the historic battlefield. Evening return to the Hotel. Your last evening in Edinburgh could be highlighted by a “Scottish dinner” with music and folklore. (appr. £65,– per person)

DAY 5: After breakfast (included), we leave Edinburgh via Newcastle upon Tyne to Ripon. We will visit the Fountains Abbey (ebtry extra), one of the most impressive monastery ruins in Europe, sitting in a wonderful park. We then continue to Hull where we board our ship around 6:00pm back to Holland. Dinner on board included. The evening is yours for fun and relaxation.

DAY 6: After English breakfast on board (included), we disembark at 8:00am and drive to the beautiful city of Delft in Holland. Here we visit a typical porcelain shop and give you some time to visit the lovely historical centre of Delft. After free time for lunch, we leave Delft and return to Germany with a dinner stop en route. Evening arrival at points of origins.

SINGLE CABIN/ROOM: € 300 for 5 nights. Persons booked on share basis must pay single supplement if no share is available. Share basis means double or triple occupancy.

SUPPLEMENTARY COSTS: Full day tour to the Highlands € 99 (incl. Whiskey tasting, entrance fees), Ghost tour appr. £ 15 per person, Fountains Abbey appr. £ 16 per person. personal expenses, tips.

CHILDREN’S PRICE: Children 3 through 12 pay € 70 less on adult’s price. Children under 3 pay € 300, additional bed or crib must be paid to hotel and no bed on ship.

DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Non US-citizens must meet proper Visa requirements.

CANCELLATION CHARGES 2021: Up to 30 days prior to departure, free of charge; 30 – 15 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; 14 – 2 days, 75% of the tour price will be charged. 1 day prior to departure until day of departure 100% of the tour price will be charged. NO REFUND FOR NOSHOWS!
