Art therapy at Warrior Center USO

Art therapy at Warrior Center

Volunteers Beth and Paul prepare to mobilize cake and ice cream throughout the Ramstein terminal to celebrate the U.S. Army's 242nd birthday at Ramstein USO on June 14, 2017.
Who couldn’t use a little pick me up, even on the best day? The USO realizes this and understands that what makes one person calm and relaxed may not work for the next, which is why our centers offer a variety of options to help promote emotional wellness.
- The Warrior Center USO hosts a monthly art therapy painting session for the wounded, ill and injured service members at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Volunteers and patients enjoy a relaxing evening of painting while listening to peaceful music. Participants are given the option to send their paintings home with a note to their families, leave their paintings as a decoration for the center or take their paintings home with them.
